What are they hiding in the Mojave Desert?
Living in the Mojave Desert in Southern California I had some unique life experiences. It was the first place that I learned to properly stargaze and saw the comet Hale-Bopp. It was also the first place that I hiked up a dormant volcano to see the crater. I found seashells and fossils in the desert playing outside as a child and also witnessed my first dust storm. It was also where I saw my first UFO and witnessed some other strange phenomena. On one occasion I was at my babysitter's house, there was a group of about eight of us that witnessed it. It was in the afternoon after school, we were eating in the dining room when my babysitter pointed out the window excitedly and asked if we saw that. It was a silver disk tilted diagonally and moving slowly at an angle. It didn't make any noise; it was completely silent. I just remember watching in awe as a child, as it flew down and then up and then it was gone. I never forgot it. It was what started my curiosity about aliens and UFOS. On another occasion I saw a door open up from the ground on the military owned land near where I lived. In the distance you could see it was a door and it shone in the desert sun, reflecting light. I had heard rumors about underground bases being on that land. One time one of my neighbors went on his dirt bike on that same land to explore and was immediately followed and chased by some black unmarked helicopters because he was trespassing. Another night I had a vivid dream about a grey alien looking down on me like I was being studied (experimented on) and I always wondered if it was just a dream not only because it was so vivid, but also because it was a strange dream for a nine-year-old to have. In the desert there are lots of stories of UFOS and aliens, you just have to know where to look.
