Was it my imagination or was there something strange about the area at the campground I stayed at.
It was the summer of August in 2021 when I had the brilliant idea to go "glamping". I had grown up going camping with my family and friends, but this was the first time I would be going "glamping" as they called it. So, not staying in a tent, but staying in a cute 1 room modern cabin. Not your typical cabin because I had grown up staying in those too. This one was more like a tiny house, it had enough room for a bed and a dresser, and that was it. I specifically had planned this trip to go see the wild horses in Colorado. I love horses, I grew up with them and riding them and I've always appreciated how beautiful and majestic they are. So, I booked my trip online and drove out to this middle of nowhere campground which is right next to where the wild horses are. I almost didn't find it because big surprise, there wasn't any cellphone reception in the area. The owner was very sweet and accommodating and quickly informed me that I had the entire campground to myself. I had booked my trip during the week for one day and one night. I would see the horses first during the day and then spend the night at my tiny cabin and then return home the next day. I had amenities, I just had to walk to them. So, there was a separate area I had to walk to down the hill from where my cabin was. It had a bathroom, shower, kitchen and dining area. There was also a yurt that you could exercise in or do yoga, etc. I was super ecstatic that I had the whole campground to myself. I just remember the owner telling me to be careful, because even though she owned and operated the campground, her house she lived at was a good few miles away in the event of an emergency. I had electricity, just not a landline or cellphone service. The day had gone well, and the wild horses were amazing to see and photograph. I headed down to the dining area after I got back to my cabin to make dinner and shower before bed. I just remember how eerie it felt, and I'm not one that gets spooked easily. It was in the woods and very quiet since it was out in the country, but I also felt like I was being watched. This was the first time I had gone camping by myself, I usually went with family or friends. After eating dinner and showering I headed back to my cabin when I saw some very bright low flying lights in the sky, above the campground. I was trying to look at them and see what they were when I remembered that I had my camera. I pulled out my camera and zoomed in on the moving lights as much as I could and tried unsuccessfully to photograph them, they were moving around too quickly. I was mildly concerned since I didn't know what they were, and I was by myself, and I already had a sense of uneasiness prior to this. Even the bathroom where I showered, I felt like I was being watched. So, when I got back to my cabin I closed and locked all of the windows and door because I didn't feel at ease. Luckily, I had a ceiling fan I turned on because it was so hot, I would have loved to have left my windows open. During the night I heard scratches on the side of my cabin, but I dismissed it as being the wind or possibly some animal. While I was sleeping, I had a very vivid dream of being in my cabin and these aliens teleporting in to my room. In my dream it looked identical to my room with some small Grey aliens and one very tall white one. The Grey aliens looked like your typical aliens, it was the white one that captured my interest. Similar to the Greys, but prettier for an alien and white luminescent skin instead of gray. And as weird as it sounds, I could sense that she was female. Also, in my dream I was laying in the same bed, and they were all right in front of it trying to abduct me, but I wouldn't go with them, I physically resisted. I even remember seeing the aliens reflections in the mirror in my room. It was an unsettling dream for sure and so random. When I left the next morning, and the owner asked how I slept I almost told her about my dream, but I stopped myself because I didn't want her to think I was crazy. So, I lied and said I slept well. Later when I got back home and had internet service, I researched the area that I had stayed in and was shocked at what I found out. I had unknowingly stayed in an area in Colorado that has had cattle mutilations, UFO sightings, you think of some strange alien phenomena, and they have it. Whether it was my imagination or something supernatural, I may never know for sure.
